NCAT was proud to be a key partner at the Connected Places Summit hosted on the 20th and 21st  of March by our partner Connected Places Catapult.

This two day event brought together key industry, tech, and policy partners to hear and speak about the vision for connected places and about the change in innovation and collaboration needed to bring this about. The event gathered over 850 delegates attending in person with over 1000 joining online, hearing from 220 speakers.

Two of our Board members spoke on panels, placing ncat at the heart of the debates.  Emily Yates was on a panel on How do we fund innovation for accessibility and inclusivity in rail? and Anna Landre was on a panel on Sparking investment for inclusive innovation in our cities and transport. Both of them spoke passionately about the need for accessibility and inclusive design to be at the heart of all place-making innovations and to be embedded throughout all stages of developments.

The team welcomed many enquiries to our stand and ncat made many useful new connections.
