Event overview

The National Centre for Accessible Transport (ncat), with consortium partner WSP, is hosting a webinar to present findings from the Economic Benefits of Accessible Transport Report published in late 2025.

The research explores how accessibility can be better recognised within transport investment, appraisal and decision-making.

During this 90-minute lunchtime session, experts from the transport, travel industry and accessibility organisations will come together as a panel to discuss:

  • The economic and social value of accessible transport
  • Current barriers within funding and appraisal frameworks
  • Opportunities for future policy and industry collaboration
  • Practical actions to support more inclusive transport systems

Attendees will also have the opportunity to *submit a question (by Wednesday 3 June 2026) to the panel ahead of the event by emailing info@ncat.uk or via the event registration link here.

* All submitted questions will be moderated and might not receive a response during the session. We will endeavour to respond to any unanswered questions in a post event follow up.
