Joined up policies, joined up journeys: Roadmapping accessible transport in the UK and devolved nations
The purpose of this project is to bring together disabled people, policy experts and transport professionals to understand the key policy and regulatory issues affecting disabled people’s access to transport across the UK.
In addition to producing a series of policy recommendations for policy makers in the UK and devolved governments.
We will focus on producing a policy commission report, setting out a road map for policy shaping activities for the commission and the wider ncat, and developing formal recommendations for the UK and devolved governments.
We will conduct roundtable discussions of policy across England, Wales, Scotland and N.Ireland, in addition to one on UK wide regulations.
We will also open a call for evidence from policy professionals.
The roundtables across the UK have been completed as has the call for evidence.
We are now producing the reports and the roadmap for publication.
