Melinda is an Associate Director at WSP UK with a strong blend of academic and practical expertise in inclusive transport, future mobility, transport innovation and user‑centred research. She brings robust academic experience, having completed her PhD and worked at University College London, where she developed deep capabilities in behavioural research, safety, and the societal impacts of emerging technologies.
Complementing this, Melinda has many years of consultancy experience, delivering complex projects for a wide range of public, private and third‑sector clients. Her work spans strategic planning, evidence generation, risk management and public engagement, with a focus on understanding how people interact with new mobility systems, including automation and digitally enabled services.
Melinda applies systems thinking and a human‑centred approach to ensure innovation is inclusive, trusted and grounded in real‑world needs. She is passionate in supporting the development of safe, transparent and equitable future mobility solutions.
