Maddy joined as the Operations and Communications Officer for ncat in January 2024.
She brings extensive experience of quality assurance plus stakeholder and risk management across large, complex projects from her previous career in education. Her time working with teenagers honed her storytelling skills and ability to bring research to life.
Prior to joining ncat, she led global training sessions on digital learning products for an EdTech and Publishing company in her role managing the global marketing segment for libraries.
She is excited to bring her personal insights of neurodiversity to ncat and particularly enjoys working with research having completed an MA in Education and Social Science Methods.
In her free time, she is a committed volunteer and has given her time to charities working in care, human rights, conservation and health. Most recently she completed the Warwickshire Triathlon and became one of JustGiving’s Top 10% fundraisers for Cancer Research. She is also a Trustee for the George Eliot Fellowship (GEF), a registered charity and literary society which runs educational, storytelling and academic events to celebrate and preserve local heritage.
