Document summary

Shared micromobility describes small vehicles such as e-bikes and e-scooters that are available to hire for short journeys. This is a rapidly growing area, and more shared micromobility services are appearing in our towns and cities.

The Motability Foundation commissioned the Research Institute for Disabled Consumers (RiDC) and Collaborative Mobility UK (CoMoUK) to carry out research into the benefits and challenges faced by disabled people using shared micromobility services and to identify ways to make these services more inclusive.
